Palm Sunday is the beginning of Holy Week and commemorates the triumphal entry of Jesus Christ into Jerusalem, days before he was crucified. Jesus arrived riding a young donkey, and to the lavish praise of the townspeople who threw their cloaks on the road and waved branches – showing the honor, respect and adoration fitting for royalty, while crying “Hosanna” (save us!).

On Good Friday, we will host a prayer experience at the church building, with several stations set up to focus our minds and hearts on the journey of Jesus through Holy Week, from his triumphal entry on Sunday to his crucifixion on Friday. We invite you to take some time to visit this self-paced, come-and-go event to remember and mark the day that Jesus gave his life for us.

And then join us to celebrate Resurrection Sunday on April 16th! Jesus conquered death and threw open the door to the grave, giving us hope for a resurrected life now and into eternity in the new heavens and new earth!
